Optimal Home Services ("OHS," "we," "us") is a family-owned painting and flooring company in Kyle, Texas. When you ask us for a quote, we collect the information you give us (name, phone, zip, project details) to follow up and serve you. We don't sell your data. We use a CRM (Shape) and an email service (Resend) to manage leads — they're vendors, not buyers.
What we collect
- What you give us: name, phone, zip code, service type, project description, anything else you put in our quote form, email, or text/phone calls.
- What your browser sends: standard log data (IP, browser, page viewed, time) — used to keep the site working and detect abuse.
- Cookies and analytics: if we enable Google Analytics or Meta Pixel in the future, that data is anonymous device-level usage data. We'll update this policy and ask consent where required by law.
How we use it
- To respond to your quote request and schedule work.
- To follow up if you've shown interest but haven't booked yet.
- To improve our site and services.
- To meet legal obligations (tax records, lien notices, etc.).
Who we share it with
- Service providers: Shape CRM, Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), and other vendors we use to run the business. They process data on our behalf under contract.
- Other Allan family businesses: with your permission, we may connect you with The Allan Home Group (Compass Real Estate) or Mortgage Loans Co. if it's relevant to your project.
- Legal requirements: if compelled by a valid subpoena or court order.
- We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
Your rights

Data retention
We keep lead and customer records for as long as we have a business relationship with you, plus seven years for tax and warranty purposes. Anonymous analytics data is kept up to 26 months.
Children
Our services are for adult homeowners and property managers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as our business or applicable law changes. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
