Optimal Home Services is owned and run by Dustin and Kristin Allan in Kyle, Texas. We're the people you talk to first, the people who walk your job, and the people whose name is on the work.
No franchise. No sales reps. No call centers. Just a family team that paints and lays floors — and a couple of related businesses if you also need real estate or a mortgage along the way.
The owners
One or both of us walks every quote ourselves, with our paint or flooring lead alongside. You'll always know who's coming, who's working, and who to call.

Thirteen years in real estate, dual-licensed in real estate and mortgage (NMLS #2044646). I started OHS because I'd been recommending paint and floor pros to my clients for years and saw the gap — most home-service companies treat homeowners like a transaction. We don't.

Co-Owner · Buyer Specialist
I run the buyer side at The Allan Home Group on the real-estate end, and I'm hands-on with OHS quotes and design choices. Staging is in my blood — picking colors, finishes, and flooring that actually sells is what I do.

The crew
Dustin or Kristin meets you. The lead below runs the job once it starts. No hand-offs to a crew you've never met.
Lead Painter
Edgar runs the paint crew. He's on the job from prep through final coat, and he's the one fixing any touch-up after. Dustin or Kristin handles the walkthrough — Edgar focuses on what he does best: getting the paint right.
Flooring Lead
Our flooring lead joins Dustin or Kristin on every flooring quote — subfloor inspection, material recommendation, install timing. Same model as paint: the person on the quote is on the job.
