Optimal Home Services is owned and run by Dustin and Kristin Allan in Kyle, Texas. We're the people you talk to first, the people who walk your job, and the people whose name is on the work.
No franchise. No sales reps. No call centers. Just a family team that paints houses and lays floors across Greater Austin.
The owners
Dustin walks every job himself before quoting it. You'll always know who's coming, who's working, and who to call.

Thirteen years in real estate, dual-licensed in real estate and mortgage (NMLS #2044646). I started OHS because I'd been recommending paint and floor pros to my clients for years and saw the gap — most home-service companies treat homeowners like a transaction. We don't.

I run the buyer side at The Allan Home Group on the real-estate end, and I'm hands-on with OHS quotes and design choices. Staging is in my blood — picking colors, finishes, and flooring that actually sells is what I do.

The crew
Dustin walks the job with you before anything is quoted. Once work starts, the crew that begins your job is the crew that finishes it — no hand-offs to people you've never met.
Our paint crew
The same painters from prep through final coat, and the same painters who come back for any touch-up afterward. Nobody gets swapped out halfway through your job.
Our flooring crew
Subfloor inspection, material recommendation, install timing. We check what's underneath before we quote what goes on top — the step most bidders skip to come in cheap.
The bigger picture
Alongside the paint and flooring work, the Allans run two other home businesses — a real-estate practice and a mortgage company. Useful if you happen to need them, and completely ignorable if you don't. Painting is what we do every day.
Where we work
We stay in Greater Austin because being a short drive matters. If you need a touch-up six months out, we can be there in twenty minutes.
